After so many days I’m back on the track. Diwali then sudden India trip then my health issues kept me away from posting any new thing.
Feeling so good today after my new successful experiment with baby corn. N more then making the dish I enjoyed setting up the props and the shooting part.
When I opened my fridge today to check the available vegetables the first thing I saw was baby corn. N immediately the idea of making Baby corn do pyaza came to my mind.
We all often eat bhindi do pyaza,paneer do pyaza so thought of making baby corn do pyaza.
N you have to make it to believe me, it’s super fast to make yet very yummy in taste.
It took me about 15-20 mins to make this vegetable.
INGREDIENTS:
Baby corn- 10-12
Onions- 2 (cut into big chunks)
Onions- 2 (finely chopped)
Tomato purée- 1 Tbsp
Yogurt-2 Tbsp
Coriander powder- 1 Tsp
Red chili powder- 1 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder- 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder- 1 Tsp
Salt to taste
Oil- 1 Tsp
Coriander for garnishing
DIRECTIONS:
Cut baby corn into four pieces.
In a pan put ½ tsp of oil.
Add chunks of onion.
Sauté till translucent in appearance.
Take them out.
In the same pan put remaining ½ tsp of oil.
Add chopped onions.
Sauté till golden brown in color.
Next add tomato purée n mix well.
Add yogurt.
Add all the masalas n baby corn.
Add ½ cup of water.
Mix well.
Cover the pan with the lid.
Let it cook on low heat for 8-10mins.
Next add sautéed chunks of onions.
Mix well.
Switch off the gas
Tadaa its done.
Garnish with chopped coriander.
Serve with chapati, paratha or rice.
