A very flavorful, delicious and quick to make shake with Rasmalai and Milk.
It’s an amazingly scrumptious dessert, in a glass!
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 2
INGREDIENTS:
Milk- 1 cup, cold
Rasmalai- 6 pieces
Thick milk or Ras of Rasmalai- 1 cup
Thandai Powder- 2 tablespoon (optional)
Saffron strands- 10-12, dissolved in 1 tablespoon of warm milk.
For Garnishing- Pista slivers and Dry Rose Petals
DIRECTIONS:
Take about 2 tablespoons of warm milk in a bowl. Add saffron strands to it. Let it stand for about 2-3 minutes.
Saffron will start releasing its color and milk will turn in to bright yellow color. Set it aside.
Meanwhile, Take out the Rasmalai balls from the thick milk or Ras. Keep it aside.
Reserve the thick milk.
With the help of a blender blend together milk, thandai powder and 4 rasmalai balls to a smooth mixture.
(If you are not using thandai powder add 1 tablespoon of sugar)
Take it out in a jug or a pitcher.
Add in the reserved thick milk or Ras of rasmalai. Mix well.
Pour into individual glasses.
Top each glass with one Rasmalai ball.
Garnish with Saffron milk along with saffron strands, pista slivers and dry rose petals.
