Cherry Rosemary Cooler
This non-alcoholic Cherry Rosemary Cooler is a cool and refreshing drink, ideal for the hot weather.
This cool drink is the perfect balance of tart, sweet and savory flavors that makes it an ideal choice for summertime. 1 cup= 250 milliliter
INGREDIENTS:
For Rosemary Syrup: Sugar- ½ cup Water- 1 cup Rosemary sprigs- 2, washed
For Cherry Crush: Cherries- 25-26 Ginger- 1” piece Lemon juice- 2 tablespoon
Club Soda or Water Ice cubes
DIRECTIONS:
We will start by making the Rosemary Syrup. For that put sugar, water and chopped rosemary sprigs in a pan on low heat. Let the sugar dissolve completely. Keep it on very low heat so that rosemary releases it’s flavor. It will take about 7-8 minutes.
Next, thoroughly wash cherries. Cut them in halves and pit them.
To make the cherry crush- Blend together pitted cherries, ginger and lemon juice.
How to prepare the Cooler- Put 5-6 ice cubes in a tall glass. Next add 3 tablespoons of rosemary syrup. After that add 3 tablespoons of cherry crush.
Top it with about 150 ml of chilled soda or water. Stir.
Garnish with a rosemary sprig. Enjoy!!
