Mango Mousse
Vibrant and bright, creamy and silky, this Mango Mousse is pure sunshine in a glass. It is a perfect dessert for special occasions. Each spoonful is bursting with mango flavor. It has just the right amount of sweetness and is packed with fruity creamy mango goodness, while being wonderfully rich and airy.
This eggless mango mousse recipe is very easy to make and the best part is no cooking is required to make it. And therefore it’s a perfect recipe for summertime when you hate slogging in the kitchen.
I have made a vegetarian version, which means this recipe doesn’t require gelatin or agar agar as a setting agent. Just to give that little firmness to this mousse, I have used chocolate. And voila it has done its magic.
Chocolate, cream and mangoes- this combination is a killer one. Believe me the whole batch was finished in the blink of an eye.
Mango Mousse is a very delicious and easy to make dessert which is made with mangoes, cream, sugar and chocolate.

Mangoes- 2 (preferably Alphonso)
Sugar- 2 tablespoon
Cream- 250 ml
Icing sugar- 2 tablespoon
White chocolate- 200 grams
For garnishing-
Mango- 1, cubed
Pista slivers- 1 teaspoon
Tutti Frutti- 1 tablespoon
Mint leaves
DIRECTIONS:
We will start by peeling and cubing the mangoes.
Make a lump free puree of cubed mangoes along with sugar.
Pour the chilled cream in a chilled bowl.
Begin to whip by either using the whip attachment of stand mixer or by hand mixer, until stiff peaks.
Add in icing sugar and whip again.
Melt the chocolate in a heat proof bowl in microwave.
Let it come to room temperature.
Once the chocolate is cooled add the prepared mango puree in it. Mix it well.
Next, add this chocolate mango mixture in the whipped cream.
Mix everything gently.
Pour the prepared mousse in individual serving bowls or shot glasses.
Keep in the fridge to chill and set.
Garnish with some mango cubes, pista slivers, tutti-frutti and maybe a beautiful mint leaf.
Serve chilled.
