3 Ingredient Oreo Ice Cream/ Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

If I say that the part of the world where I live (Dubai), is super hot during summers (May- September) would be an under statement. Temperatures soar to somewhere around 50*C. A.Cs and cool treats are what we look forward to throughout the day. Ice creams and cool Mocktails are like mirages to our souls.
Instead of splurging on store bought ice creams I prefer making them at home. Home made is always best.
And when you can make delicious treats with very few ingredients at home why to spend.
 
 
 
 
This Oreo Ice Cream’s recipe is super easy to make and scrumptious in taste. It tastes exactly like cookies ‘n’ cream ice cream. You just need 3 ingredients, yes literally 3 ingredients to make it- Cream, condensed milk and Oreo cookies.
I don’t think making Ice cream can be simpler than this.

The texture of this ice cream came out so soft, so luscious and ahh so melt in mouth. You have to make it to believe me.

 
INGREDIENTS:

Whipping cream- 2 cups (500 ml, chilled
Sweetened condensed milk- 1 can (400 ml)
Oreo cookies- 14-15

DIRECTIONS:

We will start by making the cream first.
For that put a metal bowl and the beaters (if you are using hand beater) or whisk attachment (if you are using stand mixer) in the freezer to chill for about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, break all the Oreo cookies roughly in small pieces.
Next, take out chilled bowl and beaters from the freezer.
Add in the chilled cream, using an electric mixer start whipping heavy cream for about 5-7 minutes or until it forms stiff peaks.
Stir in the sweetened condensed milk.
Gently mix with a spatula or mixer.
Add in the chopped Oreos and mix to combine.
Pour the ice cream into a freezer safe container.
Top the ice cream with additional broken Oreo pieces.
Cover the container and freeze for 6-7 hours or overnight.
Once frozen, scoop and serve.
You can garnish with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce and crushed Oreo cookies.
