Gudi Padwa/ Ugadi
This festival marks the beginning of the new year. It falls in between the month of march and april. This is the most auspicious festival as it is believed that Lord Brahma created the world on this day. So it is the day on which Lord Brahma is worshipped. People make many dishes, wear new dress and visit temple and pray for a prosperous new year.
