Avocado Chaat

Avocado Chaat

Chaat, the name itself make you drool. But if you are struggling to stick to your diet regime, how do you stop salivating?

I don’t know about you, but whenever I start my healthy meal plan, the images of chaats and sweets come in front of my eyes, and boy o boy do I give in to my temptations.

But today I thought of making something chatpata, tangy, spicy but at the same time healthy too. So, this is how I experimented with Avocado and converted it into chaat. And I must say this chaat was not only super scrumptious but also very healthy too.

INGREDIENTS:

Avocado- 1, big
Tomatoes- 2
Onions- 2
Rice puffs/ Murmure- 1 cup
Tamarind Chutney- 2 tablespoon
Coriander Chutney- 2 tablespoon
Sev- 2 tablespoon
Boondi- 1/2 cup
Chaat masala powder- 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
Salt- 1 teaspoon, or as per your taste
Red Chili powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves- handful, washed and chopped

DIRECTIONS:

We will start making this chaat by chopping the veggies.
Cut onions and tomatoes into bite size pieces.
Next, deseed and peel and chop avocado.

In a big mixing bowl add in chopped avocados along with tomatoes and onions.

Add in rice puffs.

Add in Chutneys, masalas and boondi.

Mix everything well with gentle hands.
Add chopped coriander and toss the chaat.

Top it with generous portion of sev.
Serve the chaat immediately or else it will get soggy.
Enjoy!!
