No prizes in guessing that I passed with flying colors. Not only my son but my hubby too relished them.
INGREDIENTS:

2 cups plain flour (Maida)
2cups wholewheat flour(Atta)
50gm Garlic butter
Salt to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
4tsp instant yeast
2tsp sugar
Lukewarm water enough to make a dough(½ cup-1 cup)
For the Stuffing
****************
3 Onions Finely chopped
2-3 florets Broccoli chopped
¼th of each Green Red Yellow n Orange Bell Pepper
1 cup Corn( I’ve used the canned corn)
6-7 tbsp Pizza Sauce(I’ve used the store bought sauce)
1cup Mashed Cottage Cheese(Paneer)
1 tbsp Oregano
1 tsp Basil
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Red chili powder
1 tsp Oil
Mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS:
First we’ll start with the preparation of dough for Pizza balls.
Start by warming the water. Warm 1/2 cup of water, just make it lukewarm, don’t make it hot. ( If the water is either too hot or not warm enough the yeast will not froth).
Take the water and add sugar to it. Mix it well.
Now add yeast to this warm water and sugar solution. It should start bubbling.
Keep aside the water and yeast mix for 10 minutes.
After 10 mins you will see a frothy n bubbly mix of yeast.
Combine the maida, atta, garlic butter, salt, 1.5 tbsp olive oil in a deep bowl and mix well.
(I’ve used a stand mixer to make the dough).
Now add the yeast mix to flour. Start adding water little by little.
And knead into a smooth dough.
Knead for atleast 10 min, its important to get a soft sticky dough, add little water if required.
Form a ball, grease it with olive oil.
Take a kitchen towel and make it little wet and warm it by microwaving it for 20-30 secs.
Cover the dough with the warm towel and Keep it in a nice warm place for 1 hour,so it doubles in size.
In the meanwhile prepare the stuffing.
In a pan heat oil.
Sauté all the veggies.
Add corn n all the remaining ingredients.
Mix well.
Switch off the gas.
Let this mixture come to room temperature.
After one hour you’ll see The dough will rise well to double its original size.
Punch it.
Sprinkle some maida on a clean surface n take 1/4th of the dough and roll it out to almost 10-12″ big round shape.
With the help of a cookie cutter cut roundels of approximately 4″in diameter.
Put 1 tbsp of prepared stuffing in the center of the disc.
Put some cheese.
Bring the edges together to close it.
You’ll get a nice round ball.
From the above mentioned quantities of the ingredients you can make 25-26 balls.
Prepare a baking tray by lining it with baking sheet or wax paper.
Spray some oil on the sheet.
Arrange the prepared balls on the sheet in any design you prefer.(To go with the festive mood I’ve arranged them in Christmas Tree style)
