“Cooking is the recipe of Love marinated in Passion”

Although most of the famous Chefs’ are men but cooking has always been a forte of women.

Famous saying that “The way to man’s heart is through his stomach” proves the mettle of women power in cooking and the kitchen.

To cook delicious food for your loved ones may not need any professional training by women but need a lot of love, care and passion.

My journey started more than 20 years ago when some untoward incident pushed me for the first time in kitchen. That time I first understood the real meaning of “Necessity is the mother of invention”.

Until, I got married, I never realized that cooking is something I cherish doing.

Born in “Dilwalon ki Dilli” and brought up in Chandni Chowk initially, it was not hard for me to understand that my passion for cooking was nothing but natural.

Now settled in Dubai among more than 150 nationalities, it inspires me abundantly to push my limits to understand the food culture of other countries and try my hand on some of them within my limits of Vegetarianism.

After honing my skills for more than a year, here I come with my Blog on cooking. Being a Vegetarian might seem a limitation to some but I take this as a challenge as it gives me a chance to invent something new everyday with limited resources.

Some of the recipes available on my blog are my own creation, some are my versions of famous dishes and I cook these regularly in my kitchen and few are learnt from great cooks around me like my mom, sister, aunts, mom-in-law, sis-in-law and friends.

You can leave your request for any Vegetarian recipe and I will be delighted to post it for you at the earliest.

Need your blessings and good wishes to excel in this new venture of mine.

Take Good Care of yourself. Be healthy and happy always!!!!!!

With Love
Shalu
