Mango Semolina Cake

Is it a cake or is it the baked version of a very famous Indian sweet Halwa? Whatever you call but it’s the yummiest dessert I have ever eaten.
 
 
Sometimes simple things or gestures touch your heart. In the same way, not only is this recipea delightful treat for your taste palates but a recipe which your heart will cherish forever.
Such an easy to follow and quick to make recipe but I must say super high in taste and flavors!!




INGREDIENTS:

Semolina/ Sooji- 2 cups
Mango Pulp- 2 cups
Green Cardamom- 10 (remove the husk and coarsely grind the seeds)
Baking Powder- 2 teaspoon
Condensed Milk- 1 can/ 400 grams
Sugar Powder- 2 tablespoon
Pistachios- 10, slivered
Almonds- 10, sliced
Cashews- 10, chopped

DIRECTIONS:

Start by preheating the oven at 180*C.
Prepare the baking pan by greasing and dusting the pan or by placing the parchment paper.
If making cupcakes, line the muffin tray with cupcake liners.

In a bowl mix together semolina, baking powder, cardamom powder and sugar powder.
Add in condensed milk.
Add mango pulp and mix well and set aside for 15 minutes.
 
 
 
Pour into prepared baking pan and cupcake molds.
Sprinkle some chopped nuts over them.
Bake at 180*C in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or till the skewer comes out completely clean in skewer test.
Cool completely on a wire rack.
Decorate with some more chopped nuts and dried rose petals.
